And a belated Happy Easter to you too! The fruit cakes being compared to bricks definitely makes my chuckle list...perhaps some fruity garnish around the display would have added more relevance.
I have just enrolled my children in a Montessori school. I LOVE the Montessori theory and will keep my children in this environment, for the first couple years (the foundation) of their education. I went to a seminar and asked one of the teachers to recommend a few books. One of the books that she recommended was 1-2-3 MAGIC. She said that she had not read it, but it was referred to her by another teacher.

This was one of the WORST parenting books that I ever read. It was filled with silly common sense and actually took approximately 50 pages until I worked my way past the "fluff" of what to expect when I read the book! There was zero substance and this book was complete gibberish! It was so unclear and I felt like I was reading the same verbiage over and over again!

I NEVER write reviews about anything. Quite frankly, I don't have the time to do it. Bad or good. Yet I felt so compelled to write this one. I am guessing because I felt completely ripped off and I am seriously concerned that another parent will be suckered into not only buying it but also trying to implement these silly steps to parenting! It will cost more (including the value of my time) to return this book, so I am forced to throw it away! I loaned it to three of my friends, who were very fast to return it with the same unfavorable review!

I have read so many parenting books and some that were clear in their beliefs and their tactics, yet I just did not agree or like the books. I have read MANY that are brilliant and I feel contribute to my quest towards great parenting! Whatever the reason, I felt that I had read something...even if I didn't agree or put it to use!

This book was a ripoff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My partner and I absolutely love your blog and find almost all of your post's to be just what I'm looking for. Would you offer guest writers to write content in your case? I wouldn't mind producing a post or elaborating on some of the subjects you write about here. Again, awesome site!
