Lucero,

You're welcome. I hope that it will be helpful to you in some (perhaps small) way.

I do like the tool you recommended at Moniker.com - it has some nice features. It's significantly better than GoDaddy.com. When I was using them to determine domain name availability I didn't know of any better way (but I guessed that there must be something!).

My favorite part of http://www.domaintools.com/bulk-check/ is that it automatically checks for the most popular TLDs and displays them all on one line with icons indicating the availability of each.

Best of luck with your domaining!

Hi Andy, many thanks for sharing out this info.

Let me tell you that as for checking several domains at the same time I rather prefer moniker as ShoeMoney suggested somewhere: http://www.moniker.com/domains/batch_reg.jsp . They let you check up till 500 altogether by using the POST method when submitting the form (DomainTools.com's bulk-check uses GET, which won't ever let you check that amount of domains), and have some AJAX system I think which tells which domains are available which checking. Much superior by far from GoDaddy's.

That was my 2-cents tip :P

Geoff,

I really enjoyed the info on your website, so I'll add it to my list of "other resources" at the end of my post. Hopefully it won't take me too long to crank through your articles, but I'll have some questions for you.

Great summary on domain investing. I am just getting started in this industry as well. I have found the development road is best for newly registered domains. They just won't get any traffic with the parking services. This is another reason that expired domains hold more value - even the most obscure ones have some inherent traffic.
